The perfect August fertilizer for beets: here’s what you need to add to a bucket of water

Are you growing beets? Want to get large and sweet root vegetables?

It turns out that the desired result is achieved without any problems.

The most interesting thing is that you can ‘help’ the plant even in August, when it would seem that there is not much time left before the harvest.

It is enough to perform such a procedure as adding one super fertilizer.

It is very easy to prepare this luxurious fertilizer: just add two products to a bucket of water.

August super-remedy for beets

Our magazine expert, agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh reminds: in the second half of summer, beets need potassium.

But the plant does not need the nitrogen component during this period. Moreover, nitrogen can greatly harm the popular garden crop if applied late.

Therefore, in August, the emphasis should be on replenishing the deficiency of potassium and phosphorus in the soil in the beet bed.

It is best to use potassium chloride and superphosphate for this. There should be 30 grams of the first product and 40 grams of the second product per bucket of water.

As a result, you will get a top dressing, thanks to which the quality of root crops will most likely be as high as possible.

Important point: there is no need to add the finished product if the corresponding procedure was already carried out in July.
