How to speed up the maturation of compost
Firstly, the compost should not be in the sun. Rapid maturation is only possible in the shade.
Secondly, do not allow it to dry out. The compost should always be moist.
Thirdly, improper stacking. It is not enough to simply lay them in layers, they need to be mixed.
It is advisable to add some last year’s compost to the brown layer.
The green layer should be about twice as large as the brown one.
You can also add fertilizer residues to the compost, which may not survive the winter.
