How to deliciously pickle cucumbers for the winter: a recipe from Bulgarian housewives

  • How to cook

    1. Put bay leaves, parsley, dill and cloves on the bottom of a clean and sterile jar.

    2. Wash the cucumbers, remove the ends, and place them vertically in the jar.

    3. Pour water into the pan, add salt, sugar and pepper, bring to a boil and pour in the vinegar essence.

    4. Pour the hot marinade into the jar of cucumbers to the brim, cover with a lid and place the jar in a saucepan with water.

    Boil over medium heat for 20 minutes, then roll up the jars, turn them over and leave to cool at room temperature, then put them away for storage. Enjoy your meal!
